The SuJen Hair Collection grew out of Damaris Hair Studio — our salon dedicated to celebrating the beauty of Black women's hair. For years, we sat across from our clients, listened to their frustrations, and shared them: the market was full of hair that shed, matted, or simply didn't honour the texture and needs of Black hair.

We tried vendor after vendor. We sourced from suppliers across the globe. And time after time, we were let down. The hair looked good in the package but failed on the head. Our clients deserved better — and we knew it.

That struggle drove us to go directly to the source. After extensive research, we built relationships with single-donor suppliers we could trust — bringing back raw temple hair and quality textured bundles that actually perform. Hair that blends naturally, holds up to heat, accepts colour, and lasts for years.

Today, the SuJen Hair Collection is the extension of that mission beyond our salon walls. Every bundle in our Suheidy Collection (raw Indian temple hair) and Jennifer Collection (quality single-donor textures) has been selected and tested in our studio before — that's the SuJen promise.
